Assign a Vehicle to a Delivery

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to assign a vehicle to a delivery using our management system for returnable water companies, yaku.app:

Let’s see how to link vehicles to delivery routes. This is a new feature that helps better describe delivery routes for the management system used by returnable water companies. Especially in cases where there are simultaneous deliveries or where a delivery person may be using a particular vehicle during a delivery.

To do this, go to the Dispatch module and select the Vehicles submenu; you can add a license plate to each vehicle so it can be identified. So basically, we’re adding the license plates of the vehicles and linking them to the deliveries.

For example, different vehicles could be assigned to different delivery drivers or to the same driver during different shifts, depending on the situation. If we go to the order list and assign a delivery, we’ll notice that when selecting a delivery, it no longer shows a license plate but a delivery person, since it’s linked; this way, we can see the delivery created with an assigned delivery person and their respective vehicle (license plate).
